The power of women
Many women in the village of Kafountine often do hard work to provide a modest living basis for their children and families. Not only they carry full water buckets and firewood, they also carry the difficult life situations of the whole family. Sometimes they find day jobs in farming, where the reward is sufficient at least for the common food on this day.
With our project “agriculture to stay” we want to create permanent jobs for these women and develop the project together with them. They get a regular income for their performance.
