In the old, desolate kindergarten in Kafountine, there is very cramped space for only 80 children – with 23,000 inhabitants!
Since attendance at the kindergarten is a prerequisite for later school attendance, we are currently building a new, integrative kindergarten for another 280 children. Unfortunately, we have lost our main sponsor for this project due to Corona – but giving up is still not an option for us! That is why we are asking for your help today…
We need 100 people who are willing to donate 1€/day for one year – this way we can finish the construction and furnish the kindergarten and later on pay for school fees, daily meals and medical care for 1 child and thus give him/her a future in their homeland.
The shell is almost finished and we hope to be able to complete the roof in time for the rainy season.
